Meager

Quality Charasteristics for meager coal, grade T 

 

Grade T combines coals with volatile content from 8% to 18%. Common uniting feature for them is the lack of caking capacity. Moisture of freshly mined coal grade T reaches 7-9%. Ash content ranges from 8 to 25%. The sulfur content in Kuzbass coal comes to 1,7% on the average 0,7%. The carbon content ranges from 88 to 92%. Coals of grade T are mainly used by large power plants. Due to the low levels of volatile matter and high calorific value, these coals in a mixture with coal grade D raise the heating value and knock down volatile.

We recommend that you use meager coal (semianthracite) in cast iron boilers, preferably by forced draft. 

We offer to supply the following sorted coals, grade T:

TKO- meager, large nut;

TOM- meager, little nut.
